Mechanism of Action
CJC-1295 (no DAC) binds the GHRH receptor on anterior pituitary somatotrophs, activating Gs-adenylyl cyclase-cAMP-PKA signaling to stimulate GH synthesis and secretion. The cited Ionescu and Frohman study examined long-acting, albumin-binding CJC-1295; it does not establish the No-DAC analog's half-life or GH pulse pattern.
