ARA-290 (Cibinetide)
10mg
ARA-290 (cibinetide) is a synthetic 11-amino-acid peptide corresponding to the helix-B surface region of erythropoietin (EPO). It is a non-erythropoietic, non-hematopoietic EPO derivative that selectively engages the innate repair receptor (IRR) — the heteromeric EPO-receptor / β-common-receptor (EPOR-βcR) complex — without stimulating erythropoiesis, making it a tool for isolating the tissue-protective arm of EPO signaling. Supplied strictly for in-vitro research and laboratory use only. Not for human or animal use.

Mechanism of Action
ARA-290 selectively activates the innate repair receptor (EPOR-βcR complex) expressed in response to injury and metabolic stress, without binding the homodimeric EPO receptor that drives red-cell production. IRR activation engages pro-survival signaling (Akt, eNOS), modulates VEGF, and attenuates pro-inflammatory cytokine expression (IL-1β, TNF-α) in preclinical injury models, dissociating tissue-protective signaling from the erythropoietic effects of native EPO.
