Open Research Data

Download the Research Library's compound records, references, relationship map and source-disagreement register as JSON and CSV files, free to reuse with credit under CC BY 4.0.

Version 2026-10-21: 101 compound records, 258 references, 254 published study findings, 35 relationships, 7 shared origins and 104 register entries.

The files hold the same data the Library's pages are built from, and are regenerated whenever a record changes. The URLs stay the same, and the version is the date of the most recent record update or citation check.

Downloads

  • JSON · 101 records

    compounds.json

Names, aliases, identifiers (CAS, PubChem CID, UNII), sequence with any ring closures, formula and mass, terminal and structural modifications, links to classes, mechanisms, related records and references, and the full record text with its dates.

  • CSV · 101 rows

    compounds.csv

The same records as one row each, without the record text. List fields are separated by " | ".

  • JSON · 258 records

    references.json

Every cited paper with PMID, PMCID and DOI, metadata as PubMed records it, study type, publication status and corrections, the records that cite it, and its verification receipt.

  • CSV · 258 rows

    references.csv

The same references as one row each.

  • JSON · 254 records

    findings.json

Published study findings: each reports one cited study in its stated cell, animal or computational model, with the test system, direction and reference. Held findings are not included.

  • CSV · 254 rows

    findings.csv

The same findings as one row each.

  • JSON · 35 relationships, 7 shared origins

    relationships.json

The relationship map: analogues, contained sequences, other forms and shared origins, each with the record quotation it rests on.

  • JSON · 104 entries

    discrepancies.json

The source-disagreement and name mix-up register, each entry with its quotations.

  • JSON · 22 records

    classes.json

Compound classes, so the class identifiers in the compound files resolve.

  • JSON · 17 records

    mechanisms.json

Receptor and other target records, so the mechanism identifiers resolve.

  • JSON · manifest

    datapackage.json

A Frictionless Data Package manifest: licence, version, and each file's size and SHA-256 checksum.

Scope

What the files contain

Every published compound record, class and mechanism, every reference the Library cites, every published study finding, the relationship map and the source-disagreement register. Identifiers link records to each other, and each record carries the address of its page.

A reference's verification receipt names the source its metadata was checked against, the date and the evidence batch. Its study type is the kind of work the paper reports, as the methodology describes, never what it found.

The files contain no product, price, stock, order or catalogue information. They are research reference data about peptide identity, structure and the published literature, make no claim about any product, and are not medical advice.
